Services
Face-to-Face
Located next to the Royalty Theatre at 71 Angas Street, face-to-face sessions allow us to sit in comfortable surroundings to work through the issues you face, in-person. The central CBD location also allows easy access to support, with plenty of parking and public transport services dropping you close-by.
Video + Phone
Online counselling using voice or video is one of the easiest ways to receive support when you need it. It is accessible anywhere and utilised where you feel most comfortable. Similar to emails, phone counselling is great for when you cannot make a face-to-face appointment, would like higher confidentiality or are not based in the local area.
Likewise, online video services allow us to have our face-to-face sessions from anywhere you may be, from the comfort of your own space. Online video sessions are also handy when you happen to be away for work or travelling, as it allows continuity of support through times you feel like you’re struggling.
Email therapy from your laptop, phone or tablet.
Email therapy is a convenient, discreet and cost-effective way to access therapeutic services where you can choose the location that suits you and your needs. Sometimes you don’t want to see who it is talking to you, or them you, which makes text based services a viable alternative to voice and in-person consults. It is an evidence-based way to receive support and not have to worry about traffic, parking and rushing to make appointments.
It works via a monthly subscription where you will be able to send and receive a number of emails each week to help with ongoing support. This is also a good way to slowly ease out of ongoing therapy sessions as you find your feet.
To setup monthly support, please call or email Dale via the contact details below.
Walking Therapy
Walking therapy (also known as peripatetic therapy) is a different take on the same service. I’ll be alongside you every step of the way on your journey to better mental health.
Light exercise such as walking, combined with fresh air and some sun is also a proven strategy to reduce stress. Combine that with a qualified counsellor next to you and there is a good chance for reducing the symptoms of what you’re going through.
Locations include the western beaches between Semaphore and Brighton, as well as the Adelaide CBD and Botanic Gardens. This is a great service to stretch the legs and help clear the head, especially during a lunch break during a busy week.
